This season has been unusual here in Colorado, with unexpected warmth. Our lilacs began to bloom nearly three weeks early—something we notice, and adapt to with care. Usually, this time of year means watching the sky closely, covering tender buds from late snow. But, we began harvesting the precious flowers on March 18, 2026.
